Are you collecting all Rinkya Japanese Flashcards? Good! Today we have a nice proverb: “reigai no nai, kisoku wa nai”. It literally means that “there are no exceptions, there are no rules”. Meaning that there can be no rules if there are no exceptions, hence, if you are not flexible, things can go terribly astray.
This proverb can come in handy when you are talking about laws and politics, but also in situations when flexibility is needed, or when you need to point out that being flexible is a must.
