Are you collecting all Rinkya Japanese flashcards? Today we are going to learn how to use “~yori.” We use it to make comparisons, usually to state that something is more or less than another thing. For example, if we want to say that this car is faster than that car, we say:

この車はその車より速いです。This car is faster than that car.
Kono kuruma wa sono kuruma yori hayai desu.

It is pretty easy. You just need to add “~yori” after the noun. Remember that “~yori” stands for “from.”
