Let’s celebrate Japan’s Cat’s Day with Ikumi Mama’s Cat donuts! Let’s have a happy February 22 with our beloved Kitties! While worldwide the official days for kitties is in August, Japanese celebrate it in the middle of February. Ikumi Mama is a pastry shop that makes adorable animal donuts. For a limited time, they’re making these super cute cat donuts for us to enjoy. If you happen to be in Japan, make sure to pay a visit to one of Ikumi Mama’s shops and enjoy a yummy and cute donut.
Let’s take a look at some kitties in the menu!
Ikumi Mama is offering four different sets: the popular A-team set, the popular B-team set, and the Nyanko set one and Nyanko set 2! Each set ranges from 1200 yen to 1210 yen and contains four different yummy donuts.
Ikumi Mama has also created an original character of their own called Mike. All products contain first class donut pastry and are arranged over the counter.
Ikumi Mama reviews all the raw materials all the time. So, eggs, wheat, salt and sugars are all safe and are brought from all over Japan. So, Ikumi Mama’s donuts are not only cute, but fresh and super delicious!
And Ikumi Mama is cool too: it seems that for every kitty donut that they sell, they donate a yen to a NPO (Japanese NGO) that rescues orphaned dogs and cats. How cools is that?
