Are you collecting all Rinkya Japanese flashcards?? Good! Today we are going to learn what “ken-en no naka” means. It literally means that “a dog and a monkey are friends.” It means that to be too friendly or too close to someone might not be a good idea. Monkeys and dogs don’t go together, the dog will finally bark, and the monkey will do something funny to the dog. So, sooner or later, a fight might arise. “Ken” is dog, and “en” is monkey, so, “ken-en” being friends is not such a good thing to do.

Are you collecting all Rinkya Japanese flashcards?? Good! Today we are going to learn about “chototsu moushin.” It means to do something in a rush manner without giving it much thought, to do things recklessly and quickly. Imagine that you have to prepare a report for your classes at University, and you wait doing nothing till the very last moment. Then you rush and do your report without giving much thought about it. In that case, you can apply “chototsu moushin.” You can also apply this in daily situations, not only in the academic field. Can you think about any situation in which you could apply “chototsu moushin”?

Today we have very funny fandom crossovers. They are not only great, but they are also well done. Fan art is really a way of expressing one’s desires, and fandom crossovers are a funny way to express them too. This time, I am giving you close to no clues to guess which fandoms are depicted in each of the drawings. They are really easy! (That’s why). Anyway, I’ll be giving you some comments about them.
The first one has two nice ladies, who happen to be sisters (ouch, that was a hint, wasn’t it??) Okay, but the other part of the fandom is not really related as siblings. Guess who they are
How many Rinkya Japanese flashcards have you collected so far? We hope that all of them! Today we are going to learn what “jigajisan” means. We have two kanjis that repeat themselves into the word: “ji.” It means “oneself.” So, we know that it talks about “me” and “me” in a way. It means to praise one’s adventures, to be talking about oneself all the time. It is quite annoying really. If someone is always talking about himself/herself it ends up being a quite boring monologue. In those cases you can use “jigajisan,” but if you say so to the person who is like that, well… that person might get angry! So, be careful when using this word.

If you want to rely on someone, please choose someone who is going to help you in the matter you need. If the tree isn’t big enough, you won’t be able to enjoy any shade at all!
